The Executive Management Board supported by the Supervisory Board of Medigene AG (FWB: MDG1, Prime Standard) announces that the Company intends to file for the opening of insolvency proceedings with the competent local court in the near future.
This step was taken because the Company – in taking a conservative approach – now estimates itself to be overindebted as a result of reconsideration of the valuation of Company's assets in light of its current economic situation and is expected to be illiquid in May 2025.
