Gunze Apparel Business Establishes Sustainable Supply Chain

Gunze Limited has established a sustainable supply chain by introducing recycled hangers made from 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. This initiative aims to reduce plastic waste and promote resource recycling within the company. The hangers will be used for men's underwear brands "ASEDORON" and "HOT MAGIC," with an annual production of 350,000 units. Gunze collaborates with suppliers MATSUDA, CHU-PA, and OKAKEN to recycle plastic bags from distribution centers into raw materials for the hangers, contributing to environmental sustainability efforts.
