Dongguan establishes a new generation artificial intelligence innovation consortium

On May 29th, the Dongguan New Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation Consortium was established in Dongguan Binhaiwan New District. As of now, Dongguan has formed 4 innovation consortia covering fields such as new energy, new generation communication, future food, industrial mother machines and molds, with a total expected investment in scientific research funds exceeding 500 million yuan. Gao Hongchao, R&D Director of Guangdong OPT Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that the New Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation Consortium is led by Guangdong OPT, in collaboration with vivo, Dongguan New Energy Technology, TOPSTAR, Yian Technology, Qiaofeng Intelligent, Ucap, Dongguan New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry Technology Research Institute, South China University of Technology, and several other units, as well as technical forces from institutions such as Pazhou Laboratory, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University, Guangdong Intelligent Robotics Research Institute, Nankai University, Dongguan University of Technology, and Central China Normal University to jointly promote construction and solve common technical problems of artificial intelligence faced by the industry
