EAL signed a joint transport agreement with Saudi Airlines to carry out code-sharing cooperation on certain routes

On June 25th, China Eastern Airlines' subsidiary EAL signed a joint transportation agreement with Saudi Airlines in Shanghai. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in cabin space exchange on key routes from Pudong to Riyadh and from Riyadh to Budapest, Liège, Casablanca, and other destinations. In addition, based on their respective network layouts and aircraft introduction plans, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the feasibility of innovative businesses such as exchanging aircraft space resources and ACMI leasing, aiming to further enhance operational efficiency and reduce operating costs
