Multiple listed companies have announced their first interim dividends, making multiple dividends a norm within a year
With the peak period of semi-annual reports approaching, the number of companies announcing interim dividends is gradually increasing. Recently, CAC, Sinosteel NMC, and Actions disclosed their semi-annual reports for 2025 while also announcing their interim dividend plans for the first time. Previously, several leading listed companies, including CRRC, Hengli Petrochemical, and Changan Automobile, also publicly announced their first interim dividend plans. Interim dividends are an important signal for listed companies to convey their operational quality to the capital market. Tian Lihui, a finance professor at Nankai University, stated that a number of listed companies, especially industry leaders, are using real cash to annotate their annual operating conditions, which also reflects a positive outlook on the industry's development prospects. Interim dividends, and even multiple dividends within a year, are gradually becoming the new norm, and returning value to investors is shifting from a "multiple-choice question" to a "must-answer question."
