Liu Liehong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, chaired a symposium yesterday (the 9th) to gather opinions and suggestions on promoting the high-quality development of data trading institutions and accelerating the cultivation of a national integrated data market. He pointed out that the development of the data market is still in its infancy and requires the gathering of wisdom and strength from all parties to jointly solve problems and vigorously promote the high-quality development of data trading institutions, as well as accelerate the cultivation of a national integrated data market.

He emphasized the need to promptly research and formulate policy documents to promote the high-quality development of data trading institutions and cultivate a national integrated data market, continuously building and improving the foundational system of data with "four beams and eight pillars."

On the same day, Liu Liehong chaired a symposium for private enterprises in the digital economy, listening to the operational conditions, challenges faced, and opinions and suggestions for advancing the digital economy during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period from companies such as Tuowei Information (002261.SZ), M.R.Tech (300766.SZ), DAS-Security (688023.SH), SANGFOR (300454.SZ), and Longmaster Info-tech (300288.SZ). He stated that there will be a deepening of the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements, continuous improvement of the policy toolbox, active discovery and cultivation of innovative enterprises in the digital economy, support for the construction of a number of demonstration data industry clusters with strong leading roles, continuous enhancement of data resource supply capabilities, and cultivation of a social consensus on "paying for quality data."
