Huawei's HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving launched multiple upgraded models at the autumn new product launch on September 23. Among them, the Shangjie H5, developed in collaboration with SAIC Group and Huawei, has shown strong performance since reservations opened in late August, with small orders exceeding 160,000 units.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Terminal BG, announced at the launch that the Xiangjie S9T has surpassed 13,000 large orders just one week after its launch, and the total small orders for the new Aito M7 have exceeded 230,000 units. The price range for the Shangjie H5 is between 159,800 and 199,800 yuan, with the top configuration accounting for over 75%.
All models are equipped with Huawei's latest QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 system and HarmonyOS cockpit technology, demonstrating Huawei's technical integration capabilities in the intelligent vehicle sector are gaining market recognition. The launch event also introduced a new color version of the Aito M9, adding a luxury four-seat configuration package, starting at 559,800 yuan.
Shangjie H5 Reservation Performance Exceeds Expectations
Jia Jianxu, President of SAIC Group, stated at the launch that the Shangjie H5 offers "the comfort of GL8, the quality of Santana, and Huawei's intelligence." Since small orders opened on August 25, the model has surpassed 160,000 small orders in less than a month, with the top configuration version accounting for over 75%, indicating strong consumer demand for high-spec versions.
The entire Shangjie H5 lineup is equipped with Huawei's QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 system, featuring three 4D millimeter-wave radars and 192 laser radars, achieving full scene coverage for highways, urban areas, and expressways. The vehicle also supports eAES enhanced automatic emergency steering assistance and anti-collision features for unintended acceleration.
In terms of range performance, the pure electric version of the Shangjie H5 has a maximum range of 655 kilometers, while the extended-range version has a pure electric range of 235 kilometers, with a combined range of up to 1,360 kilometers when fully fueled and charged.
Aito Series Continues to Upgrade
Richard Yu announced the launch of the new silver-purple color for the Aito M9 and upgraded over 50 features, including Huawei's QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4, remote voice viewing and intercom for parking, and watch gesture door opening. The newly added luxury four-seat configuration package includes both extended-range Ultra and pure electric Ultra versions.
The new Aito M7 has accumulated over 230,000 small orders, with comprehensive updates in exterior design, cabin space, performance control, and safety capabilities. The starting price for the extended-range version is 279,800 yuan, while the pure electric version starts at 319,800 yuan.
The new vehicle is equipped with a 16.1-inch 3K floating screen and a 68-inch AR-HUD display system, integrating technologies such as HUAWEI ADS full-dimensional fusion perception and HUAWEI DATS dynamic adaptive torque control from the Tuling platform.
Xiangjie S9T Market Performance Shines
The Xiangjie S9T has surpassed 13,000 large orders just one week after its launch, with a starting price of 309,800 yuan. The first batch of models is equipped with Huawei's QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 system and the all-new Huawei Tuling platform, with the first user deliveries starting on September 21.
