SOUTH MANGANESE (01091.HK) announced the appointment of Zhan Haiqing as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, and the appointment of Ming Xianquan and Wan Weihua as Executive Directors, effective from October 13, 2025.

The company stated that Zhan Haiqing is currently the Party Secretary and Chairman of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nanmangan Group, and is a global executive committee member of the International Manganese Association and Chairman of the Electrolytic Manganese Committee, with over 34 years of experience in product research and development, project construction, production and sales, and corporate management in the manganese industry
