"Performance" Tire manufacturer Michelin's sales fell 6.6% last season

French tire manufacturer Michelin announced that its sales in the third quarter fell by 6.6%, below market expectations, primarily due to weaker-than-expected business conditions in the North American market.

Due to the weakness in North American operations, the group lowered its expectations for this year last week and stated that it would be unable to achieve its target of over €4.2 billion in segment operating revenue by 2026, but it expects to see growth compared to this year. (sw/)
