Hong Kong Telecommunications (06823.HK) Personal Business CEO Lam Kwok-seng announced that the horse racing AI and metaphysics data large model "AI Shen Shu," developed by the company's AI team, has been launched on the Now TV app. It is expected to provide users with horse racing information for reference by integrating traditional metaphysics with AI technology and conducting in-depth analysis of big data. Currently, the large model is in a free trial phase, and charging may be considered in the future.

He added that AI Shen Shu uses a private AI large model and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, which can avoid the hallucination problems commonly found in AI large models on the market, ensuring the accuracy of the data provided.

Hong Kong Telecommunications previously announced a collaboration with nine mobile network operators in the Asia-Pacific region to launch the "Golden Roaming" service. Lam Kwok-seng stated that all CSL and 1O1O customers can automatically upgrade to use this service and revealed that negotiations are ongoing with telecom operators in various regions, with some nearing cooperation agreements.

The 15th National Games will be held next month in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. He mentioned that to provide a high-quality 5G mobile experience for local audiences, mainland, and overseas travelers during this annual event, Hong Kong Telecommunications has completed network coverage at three main competition venues: Kai Tak Sports Park, Hung Hom Sports Centre, and Tseung Kwan O Hong Kong Velodrome. The mobile data transmission backhaul has been upgraded to support 25Gbps, which is 2.5 times faster than the 10Gbps currently offered on the market.

Lam Kwok-seng also indicated that a partnership has been established with Hangzhou AR glasses company Lingban Technology to exclusively launch the Cantonese-supported AI and AR smart glasses Rokid Glasses in Hong Kong starting today (28th). In addition to providing AI voice assistant, teleprompter, real-time translation, navigation, and other functions, it is expected that new features such as AI calendar, payment, and transcription will be added in the future
