On October 29th, during the pre-market session of the US stock market, spot gold rose back above $4,000, and the gold sector collectively increased in pre-market trading, with Coeur Mining rising over 5%, Harmony Gold Mining up 5%, AngloGold Ashanti nearly 5%, GFI nearly 4%, and Newmont rising over 2%
