Altman "Yin and Yang" Tesla, Musk responds: This is very in line with your "nature"
Elon Musk and Ultraman are attacking each other on the social media platform X. Ultraman published an article stating that he was disappointed with the refund request for his reserved Tesla Roadster sports car not being fulfilled. Musk responded by stating that Ultraman did not mention that the refund was resolved within 24 hours and accused him of "stealing from a nonprofit organization." The dispute between the two continues to escalate
Musk and Altman are still attacking each other on Musk's social media platform X.
Although both are founders of OpenAI, they have been constantly clashing on social media, court documents, and company blog posts since then. The latest clash began when Altman published an article he referred to as a "three-act play," which included screenshots showing that he reserved a Tesla Roadster sports car in 2018 and recently attempted to cancel the reservation and request a refund of the $50,000 deposit, but his emails were bounced back.
"I was really looking forward to this car!" Altman wrote. "I understand the delays, but a 7.5-year wait feels too long."
The second-generation Roadster was originally scheduled to debut in November 2017 but has been repeatedly delayed. Musk (Tesla CEO) recently stated that the new version will be released by the end of this year.
Musk was the first to respond to Altman's post, writing, "You stole from a nonprofit."
After possibly checking the situation, Musk later posted that Altman's screenshots did not tell the whole story: "You forgot to mention the fourth act, where this issue was resolved, and you received a refund within 24 hours. But that fits your nature."
