The global Robotaxi first stock, WERIDE-W (00800), has closed its public offering on November 3rd. The upper limit of the offering price is HKD 35 per share, with an entry fee of approximately HKD 3,535.3 per lot, and the public subscription has been oversubscribed by more than 50 times. Additionally, market news indicates that the company's international placement has been multiple times covered, attracting enthusiastic subscriptions from professional investors such as industry investors, long-term funds, hedge funds, and high-net-worth individuals.
The company's dark trading will begin at 16:15 on November 5th, and investor sentiment may be supported by two major factors—first, founder and CEO Dr. Han Xu recently signed a voluntary lock-up agreement, committing not to reduce his holdings in the company for the next three years. According to data from ZhiShi Consulting, in 2024, WERIDE will hold a 21.8% market share based on revenue generated from L4 level and above autonomous driving on urban roads. In the second quarter of 2025, WERIDE's revenue reached 127 million yuan, a significant year-on-year increase of 60.8%; among them, the Robotaxi business generated revenue of 45.9 million yuan in the second quarter, a substantial year-on-year increase of 836.7%, setting a new quarterly record since the company's establishment.
According to WERIDE's prospectus, the company currently owns over 1,500 autonomous vehicles, of which over 700 are Robotaxis. It has the largest Robotaxi fleet in the Middle East outside of China and the United States and is the only company in the region to achieve commercial Robotaxi operations, with over 2,200 days of good operational records globally and approximately 55 million kilometers of autonomous driving mileage on public roads
