GATD: Participating in the country's first thorium-based molten salt experimental reactor project

GATD stated on the interactive platform that the company, as a key component supplier, has deeply participated in the domestic first set of 2MWt liquid fuel thorium-based molten salt experimental reactor project with independent intellectual property rights. The high-temperature alloy ring forgings for both the reactor core and the reactor exterior were developed and produced by the company. Driven by technological innovation, the company successfully overcame challenges such as product deformation, cracking, multiple specifications, and complex processes. Among them, the manufacturing of the reactor vessel UNS N10003 alloy cylinder forgings received recognition and awards from the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
