Panasonic Chairman Manish Sharma steps down to pursue growth outside

Panasonic Life Solutions India Chairman Manish Sharma has resigned after over a decade with the company. He played a key role in shaping Panasonic's strategy and growth in India, supporting local manufacturing and the "Make in India" initiative. Sharma will assist during the transition, while Tadashi Chiba continues to manage the business. His tenure saw Panasonic become a significant player in the appliance market, although the company recently exited loss-making segments like refrigerators and washing machines. Sharma previously held leadership roles in industry bodies and joined Panasonic in 2008.
