Photovoltaic stocks AH shares plummet, GCL-Poly trades heavily down 9%, LONGi falls over 8%

Hong Kong stocks opened higher this morning (12th), with the Hang Seng Index opening up 58 points. The morning session saw an expanded gain, briefly recovering the 27,000 mark, rising by 319 points to a high of 27,016. Photovoltaic stocks A and H shares both fell sharply, with GCL-Poly Energy (03800.HK) opening flat before plunging in the morning session, hitting a low of HKD 1.28. It is currently reported at HKD 1.29, down 9.15%, with a turnover of 1.147 billion shares, exceeding the total of the previous day, involving HKD 1.521 billion.

Blue-chip Xinyi Solar (00968.HK) is currently reported at HKD 3.69, down 5.87%, with a turnover of HKD 166 million.

Flat Glass Group (06865.HK) is currently reported at HKD 12.37, down 7.34%, with a turnover of HKD 68.5835 million.

New Energy (01799.HK) is currently reported at HKD 8.32, down 7.04%, with a turnover of HKD 22.9734 million.

Leading photovoltaic A-share LONGi Green Energy (601012.SH) fell 8.5% near the noon close, reported at RMB 20.54. Tongwei Co., Ltd. fell 8.5%, reported at RMB 24.46. Hongyuan Green Energy (603185.SH) hit the limit down, Canadian Solar (688472.SH) fell over 16%, Airo Energy (688717.SH) fell over 10%, and Trina Solar (688599.SH) fell over 8%.

Additionally, wind power equipment stock Goldwind Technology (02208.HK) is currently reported at HKD 12.41, down 4.76%, with a turnover of HKD 121 million
