Australia's Webjet dives to over six-month low on weaker outlook, lower bookings

Shares of Webjet fell 21.8% to A$0.688, marking a six-month low. The company reported a FY26 underlying EBITDA outlook of A$30 million to A$34 million, below analyst expectations of A$37.9 million. Bookings for 1H26 decreased by 8% year-on-year to 724,000. Webjet also revised its FY25 EBITDA forecast down to A$35 million from A$39.4 million. Analysts at Jefferies noted a negative outlook, anticipating subdued conditions in domestic leisure travel for the remainder of 2H26. Year-to-date, Webjet shares are down 20.7%.
