The schedule for important U.S. data has been confirmed! The non-farm payrolls for September will be released next week, and the Federal Reserve's preferred indicator, PCE, will be published on November 26

With the end of the U.S. government shutdown, market focus has shifted to the release schedule of the backlog of economic data and its impact on the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision in December.

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced on Friday the release schedule for the revised third-quarter GDP and PCE and other economic data, with investors set to receive key data in the coming weeks to assess U.S. economic growth and inflation trends.

The U.S. Department of Commerce stated that the revised third-quarter GDP will be released at 8:30 AM Eastern Time on November 26, and later that evening, personal income, spending, and the PCE price index for October will also be released.

However, there remains uncertainty regarding the release of some labor data. The U.S. Secretary of Labor indicated that it is uncertain whether the Bureau of Labor Statistics will be able to release the Consumer Price Index for October, as the September employment report has been collected but not yet processed. The Secretary of Labor also expressed hope that the September employment data could be released next week.

According to Chasing Wind Trading Desk's previous report, Morgan Stanley predicts that before the Federal Reserve's meeting on December 9-10, it will be able to obtain complete data on September employment, inflation, retail sales, and the preliminary third-quarter GDP, with the key being whether the October and November employment reports can be released on time.

The U.S. Department of Commerce also noted that the final value of the third-quarter GDP is scheduled to be released at 8:30 AM Eastern Time on December 19 (9:30 PM Beijing Time). Additionally, the international trade report for October will be released at 8:30 AM Eastern Time on December 4 (9:30 PM Beijing Time)
