Mainland lithium carbonate futures main contract hit the limit up, Ganfeng Lithium surged over 8%

The main contract price of lithium carbonate futures in mainland China rose by 9%, hitting the daily limit, reported at RMB 95,200 per ton.

Lithium hexafluorophosphate and electrolyte manufacturers Tianqi Materials (002709.SZ) and Dufu (002407.SZ) saw their stock prices rise by 2.1% and 6.2%, respectively, while Tianji Co., Ltd. (002759.SZ) increased by 3.8%. Hong Kong-listed lithium stocks continued to be favored, with Ganfeng Lithium (1772.HK) once surging by 9.7% to a high of HKD 63.05, currently reported at HKD 62.35, up 8.4%, with a transaction volume of HKD 1.934 billion.
