
Former Chairman of the Singapore Exchange, Ko Zongsheng, joins UBS | Lianhe Zaobao

The former chairman of the Singapore Exchange, Koh Cheng Boon, will assume the position of Chairman of UBS Group AG for Singapore and Southeast Asia, effective December 1. He will be responsible for strategic guidance, supporting UBS's growth and innovation in the region, and nurturing the next generation of leaders. The former chairman of the Singapore Exchange, Ko Chong Seng, will assume the role of chairman of UBS Group AG in Singapore and Southeast Asia, with the appointment effective from December 1.
UBS announced on Thursday (November 20) that Ko Chong Seng will be responsible for strategic guidance, supporting UBS's continued growth and innovation in the region, and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
At 79 years old, Ko Chong Seng currently serves as the chairman of local company UltraGreen.ai. He has decades of outstanding leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, having chaired several major listed companies, including the Singapore Exchange, Sembcorp Industries, Neptune Orient Lines, and Olam International.
