According to reports, the Doubao phone assistant is not an independent phone product, but rather an AI assistant software developed in collaboration with mobile phone manufacturers at the operating system level based on the Doubao App.
The collaborative engineering prototype is led by Doubao for product definition and user experience of the AI phone assistant, while Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE, is responsible for hardware engineering and technical research and development.
The device features a 6.78-inch screen and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. The version with &#34;16GB RAM and 512GB storage&#34; is priced at 3,499 yuan and is primarily sold in limited quantities to developers and tech enthusiasts.

It is worth noting that ByteDance has stated that it is advancing cooperation plans for phone assistants with multiple mobile phone manufacturers, with the only officially disclosed partner being ZTE.
