Today, Porsche announced that its Macan EV, upcoming Cayenne EV, and 2026 and newer Taycan owners will be able to charge on 27,500 Tesla Superchargers without an app or credit card needed…</p><span id="more-451899"></span><p>The announcement came via press release: </p><blockquote><p>Porsche Cars North America Inc. (PCNA) today announced that Plug &amp; Charge functionality for all Macan Electric and model year 2026 Taycan models is now available on the Tesla Supercharger network via Porsche Charging Service. This integration offers a faster, more efficient charging experience at over 27,500 Tesla Superchargers with secure and seamless payment through Porsche Charging Service.</p><p>Plug &amp; Charge technology eliminates the need for separate apps or credit cards at compatible charging stations for active Porsche Charging Service members. Still, it is quite a bit easier than using an app and/or a credit card to access Tesla’s charging network. I expect future Porsches to be NACS native.</p></div>
