
Mainland China's grain output in 2025 is expected to reach nearly 1.43 trillion jin, setting a new record
Zhang Xingwang, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that in 2025, grain production will achieve another bumper harvest, and the supply of "vegetable basket" products will be abundant. The grain output will reach nearly 1.43 trillion jin, an increase of 16.8 billion jin, setting a new historical high and stabilizing above 1.4 trillion jin for two consecutive years.
Zhang Xingwang indicated that in 2025, the research and application of agricultural machinery and equipment in the mainland will accelerate, with the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop planting and harvesting reaching 76.7%. The application scenarios of smart agriculture will expand across the entire chain, with the number of agricultural drones exceeding 300,000, and the annual operating area surpassing 460 million mu, demonstrating a positive trend of the low-altitude economy in the agricultural sector
