On Friday (January 23), the Magnificent 7 index of U.S. tech stocks rose by 1.09%, closing at 205.25 points, with a cumulative increase of 0.32% for the week. Among the constituent stocks, Microsoft rose by 3.28%, Amazon by 2.06%, Meta by 1.72%, and NVIDIA by 1.54%. Tesla fell by 0.07%, Apple by 0.15%, and Alphabet A by 0.79%. Additionally, AMD rose by 2.32%, TSMC by 2.29%, Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares fell by 1.14%, and Eli Lilly fell by 2.12%. The "mega" market cap tech stock index rose by 0.79%, closing at 395.32 points, with a cumulative increase of 0.64% for the week. In addition to Tesla, Alphabet A, AMD, Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Meta Platforms, and Amazon, Netflix rose by 3.05%, Adobe by 0.45%, Salesforce fell by 0.02%, Oracle fell by 0.57%, Qualcomm fell by 1.25%, and Broadcom fell by 1.70%
