Low temperature, rain, snow, and freezing conditions have arrived, leading to the closure and control of several sections of national and provincial highways

The Central Meteorological Administration predicts that the first cold air mass will affect the central and eastern regions of China from the 25th to the 27th, bringing a temperature drop of 3 to 6 degrees Celsius, with local drops exceeding 8 degrees. This wave of cooling will quickly spread from most of the northwest to North China, the Huanghuai region, and the Jianghan area. Today, snowflakes have also begun to fall in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. After this cold air mass, a new cold air mass will arrive from the 29th to the 31st, bringing a temperature drop of 4 to 8 degrees Celsius, with local drops around 10 degrees in the northwest and central eastern regions. Affected by this new round of cold air, many transportation routes and sections are closed and controlled due to snow and ice today, while freezing rain in the south is also impacting travel.
