Fourier: Brain-machine interfaces will be introduced into robotic rehabilitation training in the next 1-2 years
Gu Jie, the founder and CEO of Fourier, stated at the second Fourier Embodied Intelligence Ecological Conference and Zhangjiang Robotics Developer Pioneer Conference that they will clarify the large-scale implementation of robot rehabilitation training using brain-computer interface technology within the next 1-2 years. "When patients generate movement intentions during training but are unable to execute them at the muscular level, the robot can recognize the intention through brain-computer interaction and provide appropriate assistance at the moment the intention is formed, thus completing a complete closed-loop training from the central to the peripheral."
