Sony Innovation Fund invests an additional $13 million in blockchain solutions provider Startale Group.
Startale Group announced the completion of its Series A funding round, raising $13 million, with follow-on investment from Sony Innovation Fund. The company's primary business is building on-chain infrastructure based on the Soneium ecosystem, with products including the Startale App (integrated wallet and asset management) and the stablecoin Startale USD (USDSC). Startale Group currently operates the Ethereum Layer 2 network Soneium in a joint venture with Sony Group and also operates Astar Network. This funding round will be used to advance the development of on-chain infrastructure that integrates AI with entertainment and intellectual property.
