BYD's sales in the German market surged by 1,000%, further widening the gap with Tesla
BYD continues to expand in Europe's largest electric vehicle market, with its sales in Germany soaring more than tenfold last month.
According to data released by the Federal Motor Transport Authority on Wednesday, BYD sold 2,629 new cars in Germany in January, far exceeding the 235 units sold in the same period last year, and more than double Tesla's 1,301 registrations.
