<h2>360-Degree Replay Application for 17 Events with New &#34;Time-Space Slice&#34; Effect</h2>
<p>Alibaba Cloud will launch an upgraded real-time 360-degree replay system for this Winter Olympics. Driven by AI algorithms, the system can complete the 3D reconstruction of athletes' key movements within 15 to 20 seconds. The system will be applied to 17 events, including ice hockey, freestyle skiing, and figure skating. In addition to retaining the &#34;bullet time&#34; special effect, the new &#34;time-space slice&#34; feature will present the phases of athletes' continuous movements in a single frame.</p>
<p>OBS is in the early stages of developing a media auto-description system powered by Alibaba Cloud's &#34;Tongyi Qianwen&#34; large language model. This system can automatically identify athletes, mark key moments, and generate event descriptions, reducing the video annotation process from manual handling to just a few seconds. The production team can retrieve the desired content through natural language commands such as &#34;find figure skating gold medal performances.&#34;</p>
<h2>Cloud Broadcasting Supports 39 Organizations with the Launch of &#34;Olympic AI&#34; Assistant</h2>
<p>Cloud broadcasting will further become the core infrastructure for Olympic broadcasting. Since its introduction at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Olympic cloud live streaming platform will support 39 broadcasting organizations at the 2026 Winter Olympics, providing 428 live signals, including 26 ultra-high-definition signals and 72 audio signals. The platform effectively reduces costs and technical complexity by replacing traditional satellite transmission. At the same time, the OBS Olympic video player will provide HD live streaming based on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure for the first time.</p>
<p>The 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy will also witness the largest &#34;ready-to-use&#34; digital asset scale in Olympic history. Over 5,000 short video contents will be globally released through the OBS Content+ on Alibaba Cloud's cloud platform.</p>
<p>This event will introduce the first &#34;Olympic AI&#34; system powered by the &#34;Tongyi Qianwen&#34; model. This assistant will be embedded in the IOC official website, providing global fans with multilingual dialogue, real-time event inquiries, and article summaries. Additionally, Alibaba Cloud's upgraded &#34;Sports AI&#34; media archiving solution will manage over 8PB of historical Olympic content and utilize AI for automatic annotation and conversational retrieval, transforming past media assets into an easily searchable digital knowledge base</p>
