The three major A-share indices of Shanghai and Shenzhen closed near their highs for the day, rising between 1.4% and 3%. Domestic insurance and real estate stocks strengthened, while semiconductor, computing power, and commercial aerospace stocks surged

The central parity rate of the RMB against the US dollar was raised by 67 points today, reported at 6.9523 per US dollar. The People's Bank of China today (9th) conducted a 7-day reverse repurchase operation of 113 billion RMB (the same below) in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 75 billion RMB of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 38 billion RMB for the day.

The three major A-share indices opened high and rose, with an increase of about 1% to 3%. The Shanghai Composite Index closed up 57 points or 1.4% at 4,123 points, with a turnover of 949.7 billion RMB. The Shenzhen Component Index closed up 301 points or 2.2% at 14,208 points, with a turnover of 1.3 trillion RMB. The ChiNext Index closed up 96 points or 3% at 3,332 points, with a turnover of 639.3 billion RMB.

Major domestic bank stocks remained stable, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) rising by 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively. Ping An (601318.SH) and China Life (601628.SH) rose by 2.7% and 3.2%, respectively. ZTE Corporation (000063.SZ) plans to invest 200 million RMB to subscribe to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Venture Capital Guiding Fund shares, with its stock price rising by 2.6%.

Real estate stocks strengthened, with Beijing Investment Development (600683.SH) hitting the daily limit, and Vanke A (000002.SZ), Gemdale (600383.SH), and Greenland Holdings (600606.SH) rising between 3% and 5.7%.

Chip stocks performed well, with SMIC A (688981.SH) and Hua Hong (688347.SH) rising by 2% and 4.3%, respectively. AI chip stock Cambricon (688256.SH) rose by 4.8%. Domestic GPU stocks Muxi Co., Ltd. (688802.SH) and Moore Threads (688795.SH) rose by 3.8% and 5.2%, respectively.

Semiconductor, photovoltaic, and computing power concept stocks surged, with Shuangliang Energy (600481.SH) rising by 6.6%. Yaxing Integrated (603929.SH), TCL Zhonghuan (002129.SZ), and Changfei Optical Fiber (601869.SH) all hit the daily limit. Tianfu Communication (300394.SZ) and Guangku Technology (300620.SZ) each rose by over 17%.

Commercial aerospace stocks performed well, with Dinggu Jichuang (300749.SZ) and Hangxiao Steel Structure (600477.SH) both hitting the daily limit. The mainland successfully launched a type of reusable experimental spacecraft, and commercial aerospace is expected to enter a stage of high-frequency launches.
