The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has released information stating that it recently received reports indicating that criminals are using social media platforms or messaging apps to lure ordinary investors into the trap of "pump and dump" market manipulation. Currently, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has reported the relevant cases to the police and will continue to cooperate with relevant departments to combat investment scams
