The central parity rate of the RMB against the US dollar was lowered by 19 points today, reported at 6.9457 per US dollar. The People's Bank of China today (12th) conducted a 7-day reverse repurchase operation of 166.5 billion RMB (the same below) in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%; it also conducted a 14-day reverse repurchase operation of 400 billion RMB. Today, 118.5 billion RMB of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 448 billion RMB for the day.

The three major indices of A-shares performed well, with the Shanghai Composite Index stabilizing and the ChiNext rebounding over 1%. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 2 points or 0.05% to 4,134 points, with a turnover of 898 billion RMB. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 122 points or 0.9% to 14,283 points, with a turnover of 1.24 trillion RMB. The ChiNext Index rose 43 points or 1.3% to 3,328 points, with a turnover of 613.5 billion RMB.

Banking stocks were slightly weak, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) falling 1.5% and 1.7%, respectively. In addition, CATL (300750.SZ) rose 2.1%. BYD (002594.SZ) fell 1.2%.

Non-ferrous metal stocks continued to rise, with Pengxin Resources (600490.SH) and Hesheng Co., Ltd. (002824.SZ) both hitting the daily limit.

Film and television stocks continued to decline, with Hengdian Film (603103.SH) hitting the daily limit down. China Film (600977.SH) and Shanghai Film (601595.SH) fell 6.1% and 3.1%, respectively.

Commercial aerospace concept stocks rose, with Tianyi New Materials (688033.SH) and Taihao Technology (600590.SH) rising 17% and 7.3%, respectively. Robotics concept stock Rifa Precision Machinery (002520.SZ) hit the daily limit up. Titan Holdings (003036.SZ) rose 6.5%.

Computing power chip stocks rose, with Xinyuan Technology (688521.SH) and Haiguang Information (688041.SH) rising 12.9% and 2.9%, respectively. Leading chip stock SMIC (688981.SH) A-shares rose 1.4%. AI chip stock Cambricon (688256.SH) rose 3.1%. Domestic GPU stock Moore Threads (688795.SH) rose 3.2%. (ta/)
