In January, China's railway freight volume continued to grow

On January 14, the China National Railway Administration announced that in January, the national railway freight volume continued to grow, and railway construction was efficiently promoted. Affected by the Spring Festival dates, the number of passengers sent in January decreased year-on-year. In terms of passenger transport, in January, the national railway completed a passenger sending volume of 349 million person-times, a year-on-year decrease of 5.2%; in terms of freight transport, in January, the national railway completed a freight sending volume of 438 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.
