CATL's green intelligent manufacturing base signs contract and lands in Yancheng

CATL (03750.HK) officially signed an agreement with Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province last Friday (13th), marking the establishment of CATL's new green intelligent manufacturing base for lithium batteries in Yancheng.

The project will build the country's first grid-connected green electricity direct connection system with a high proportion of green electricity applications, and simultaneously create a demonstration base for export products that meet the dual high standards of "zero-carbon factory + lighthouse factory," jointly building a national-level zero-carbon industrial park.

Both parties plan to use this base as the core to attract upstream and downstream industrial chain collaboration, constructing a zero-carbon industrial ecosystem covering the entire lifecycle of "safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and intelligence," assisting in the upgrade of Yancheng's new energy industry cluster
