JD LOGISTICS has launched Shanghai's first Smart Wolf Warehouse in Jiading, increasing efficiency by more than three times

The Jiading District of Shanghai announced that JD Logistics (02618.HK) has officially put into operation its first Smart Wolf Warehouse recently established in the JD Asia No. 1 Shanghai Jiading Logistics Park Area 2. The total investment in this warehouse amounts to tens of millions of RMB, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. Through intensive robotic operations and intelligent system scheduling, the outbound efficiency has increased by more than three times.

It is reported that the Smart Wolf Warehouse has significantly enhanced the storage capacity per unit area by transforming the shelves into a three-dimensional and high-density layout, with storage efficiency increasing fourfold. Under the dual-machine collaboration of vertical lift robots and handling robots, the inbound efficiency, overall picking, and outbound efficiency of the warehouse have improved by more than three times compared to traditional warehouses. Currently, the physical labor of outbound workers has been taken over by robots, allowing them to focus on core picking operations. It is expected that one operator can handle 30 bins of goods simultaneously, easily completing over 300 items picked per hour, with an accuracy rate as high as 99.99%, and the average processing cost per item reduced by more than half
