MTR CORPORATION has been designated as the host of the 2028 UITP International Summit by the International Public Transport Association

MTR Corporation (00066.HK) announced that it has been selected by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) as the host for the 2028 UITP International Summit, marking the first time this century-old event, a top gathering in the global public transport industry, will be held in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Alice Chan, stated that MTR Corporation's successful bid for the UITP International Summit will bring together government agencies, public transport operators, and representatives from around the world to Hong Kong. The Hong Kong SAR government will fully support MTR Corporation in hosting this significant event, and I sincerely invite all public transport operators and industry partners to actively participate and showcase Hong Kong's strength as "the world's best public transport."
