According to a report by the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Futu increased its investment in digital bank Tianxing Bank by HKD 500 million last September to subscribe for new shares issued by Tianxing's parent company, Gravity Financial Technology, and indirectly increased its equity stake in Tianxing Bank to 68.43% (up from the original 44.11%), replacing founding shareholder Xiaomi-W (01810.HK) as the controlling shareholder of Tianxing Bank.
