Suzuki Motor Corp Reports Stable Revenue Amid Challenges
Suzuki Motor Corporation reported a slight revenue increase to ¥2,864.2 billion in the first half of fiscal year 2025, despite challenges like rising raw material costs and declining sales in key markets. Operating profit fell 17.5% to ¥276.5 billion. While the automobile segment saw flat revenue, motorcycle and marine segments experienced growth, though the marine segment faced profit declines due to U.S. tariffs. Suzuki's total assets rose to ¥6,190.5 billion, and cash equivalents increased to ¥930.0 billion. The company plans strategic investments to enhance its competitive edge amid market uncertainties.
