Sound Group Inc (SOGP) is a global social and entertainment company focused on audio. The company is committed to building the world's largest audio platform, providing user-generated audio content, podcasts, and audio community services through the "Lizhi" App. SOGP was listed on NASDAQ in January 2020.
After announcing its unaudited financial report for the first half of 2025, the company's stock price surged by 228.95%. The company announced a turnaround from loss to profit, with a net income of RMB 67.6 million ($9.4 million), a significant improvement from the net loss of RMB 36.5 million in the same period last year. This growth was attributed to the expansion of its audio entertainment business and increased revenue from AI products.
