1) China held the National Housing and Urban-Rural Development Work Conf. in Beijing on Dec 22–23, setting the core task for 2026 as stabilizing the property market. Measures include city-specific policies to curb new supply, reduce inventory, and optimize supply, and converting unsold commercial housing into affordable units.
It will leverage the 'whitelist' mechanism to support developer financing and promote sales of completed homes to mitigate delivery risk. Reforms to the Housing Provident Fund and a housing quality improvement program will also be advanced.

1)$KUAISHOU-W(01024.HK)
Around 22:00 on Dec 22, Kuaishou was hit by an automated bot-driven attack by black-hat operators, with multiple live rooms showing adult content and some rooms drawing up to 100k viewers, triggering user concern. The company said overnight it activated an emergency plan, restored core functions, froze implicated accounts, and removed over 30k violating links.
It also reported the case to police and regulators, and an investigation is underway. The incident exposed the limits of the platform’s traditional manual defenses and a delayed response to automated attacks. While rapid remediation helped contain fallout, the adult content has damaged user trust.
2)$AMD(AMD.US)
Media report that Alibaba is considering a large order of 40k–50k MI308 AI accelerators from AMD. The chip is tailored for China and complies with U.S. export controls; AMD has secured partial export licenses and would remit 15% related fees to the U.S., with the CEO having just completed a China visit.
If finalized, it would be among AMD’s largest deals in China, expanding incremental market access and validating the effectiveness of substitute products. Final terms remain pending, and policy and commercial negotiations bear close watching.
