Charwood Energy Secures Contract to Supply Biomass Heat Network for Stellantis Plant
Charwood Energy SA has secured a contract with ENGIE Solutions for a decarbonization project at the Stellantis La Janais plant. The project involves the installation of an 8 MW biomass boiler and a 3 km hot water distribution loop, expected to generate 25,000 MWh of renewable heat annually, serving 3,000 homes and reducing CO₂ emissions by 6,650 tons per year. Charwood Energy’s subsidiary, Energy&+, is spearheading this initiative to promote sustainable energy solutions and support industrial decarbonization.
