ConocoPhillips Stock Underperforms Wednesday When Compared To Competitors Despite Daily Gains
ConocoPhillips (COP) shares rose 1.71% to $97.15 on Wednesday, ending a three-day losing streak, while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones also saw gains. However, the stock underperformed compared to competitors Exxon Mobil (XOM), which rose 2.41%, and Chevron (CVX), which increased by 0.87%. ConocoPhillips remains 8.52% below its 52-week high of $106.20 reached on April 2nd. Trading volume was 10.5 million, surpassing the 50-day average of 7.7 million.
