ZAWYA-SNG: ADSB rolls out $1.8bln Kuwait defense shipbuilding contract

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has received approval for a $1.89 billion shipbuilding contract from the Kuwait Ministry of Defense during its general assembly meeting on January 26. The contract includes the construction of eight Falaj-class ships, each measuring 62 meters. This agreement, made with EDGE Commercial LLC, represents over 5% of ADSB's share capital. The board has been authorized to take necessary actions to implement the resolutions. In June 2025, ADSB was awarded a contract to supply Falaj 3-class missile boats to the Kuwait Naval Forces.

Hong Leong Asia proposes spinning off Guangxi Yuchai Marine and GenSet Power on HKEX

Hong Leong Asia announced the proposed spin-off of its subsidiary, Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power (MGP), for a listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
