Singapore shares fall amid mixed regional showing; STI down 0.3%

OCBC opens client stocks to institutional borrowers via Citi platform

OCBC Group has launched a securities lending program using the Citi Securities Lending Access platform, allowing retail and corporate customers to lend idle securities to institutional borrowers for fee income. Customers retain dividends and can sell securities anytime. Initially, US and Hong Kong shares are eligible, with plans to include Singapore, Hong Kong, US, and Japan shares for Bank of Singapore clients later in 2026.
