According to domestic media reports, PDD has recently tested a new business called "Billion Dollar Supermarket" in its mobile application. It is reported that this business will operate through low-price subsidies and limited-time, limited-quantity coupon distributions. Currently, it is only open for internal testing to a random selection of users. The products sold include fruits and vegetables, nut snacks, dairy drinks, and maternal and infant products, with prices generally 10% to 30% lower than those at other offline supermarkets and online platforms
