Venezuela provides a significant revenue opportunity, Baker Hughes says
HOUSTON, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Oilfield service company Baker Hughessaid on Monday there was a significant revenue opportunity in Venezuela, and the main considerations for operating there were the safety and operating conditions for its employees, and clarity on legal and regulatory frameworks.The Houston-headquartered company said it was working with authorities on Venezuela, after the U.S. this month captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and called on oil companies for investment to rebuild the South American country’s dilapidated oil industry.
