VinFast Introduces Battery Subscription Program in the Philippines
VinFast Philippines has launched a battery subscription program aimed at reducing the cost of electric vehicle (EV) ownership. By separating battery ownership from the vehicle price, upfront costs are significantly lowered. For instance, the entry-level VF 3 drops from ₱745,000 to ₱590,000 without the battery. The program addresses high initial costs and battery performance concerns, treating the battery as a service. This initiative, alongside a residual value guarantee, aims to enhance EV accessibility in the price-sensitive Philippine market.
