The Central Plaza Hotel has completed a three-year renovation, becoming the first hotel in Hong Kong to introduce a Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) system. The hotel has installed 947 pieces of solar power glass on three sides of its curtain wall, covering a total area of 808 square meters, with an expected annual power generation of 24,800 kilowatt-hours, sufficient to supply the annual electricity needs of eight rooms.
