EU wheat higher with weather and exports in focus
Euronext wheat prices rose due to severe cold weather in the U.S. and Russia, raising concerns about crop damage. March milling wheat increased by 0.7% to 190.75 euros per metric ton. U.S. export sales exceeded expectations, and a vessel is set to load 60,000 tons of wheat for Egypt. Despite this, competition remains strong from the Black Sea region. In Morocco, traders are cautious about demand due to competition from Argentina and favorable weather for local harvests. French barley is also seeing overseas demand, with a vessel scheduled for Algeria.
